It would be hilarious if it weren’t so pathetic. The hapless president resumed his endless campaign in Austin, TX, today, where he was warmly welcomed by new Democrat bogeyman Ted Cruz. Since Obama has no clue what he’s talking about, his stooges simply feed lines into his trusty teleprompter and he repeats warmed-over talking points from years past.
“You might not know this because if you listen to all the doom and gloom in Washington and politics, and watching cable T.V. sometimes you might get kind of thinking nothing is going right. But the truth is there’s a lot of reasons for us to feel optimistic about where we’re headed as a country,” Obama said.
“We’re poised for progress.”
Let’s see: Gloom and doom, Washington, politics and cable TV. Hmm. Who’s dominated all that the past six years? Oh yeah, Obama. Funny, that. The man who’s in our faces and on our televisions 24/7 spreading fear and doom? Oh yeah, Obama. But remember, he’s got nothing to do with any of this. Sheesh.
Odd now fives years into this disaster, we’re yet again poised for progress.
Let’s see: Last December we had this:
Then there was his State of the Union in January 2011:
There’s that word again: Poised. How long must we maintain our poise before there actually is progress?
