Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath.
The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up." Nonetheless, in the eight months since the attacks, this is the most sweeping and detailed discussion by key players of what might have been done differently.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"....And let me just add the last bit of news that we got -- how this was released by the IRS. This is peculiar and I'm not even sure I can understand why. But they decide knowing the IG report will come out this week, they decide a week ago to plant a question in a closed meeting of the ABA (American Bar Association) so that Lois Lerner answers it and gives an answer, assuming I think that it's going to leak out, but I'm not even sure I understand the logic of doing that.
Why not just issue a press release, say it? But to do it in a sort of ridiculously devious way shows you an institution that is sort of given intrinsically to being untruthful and deceptive. ..."(Special Report, March 17, 2013)

Check out this quote by an Obama administration official, “We’re portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots, it’s actually closer to us being idiots.”

People often say that Obama is an idiot. I don't think he is. I think he is an opportunist who takes every situation and tries to further his agenda. Within all of the government agencies his plan is moving forward. How successful he is in the end will be determined by history.

They would rather us think them idiots. Cute, well-intentioned, but they care so damned much, they just screw up sometimes. Nothing nefarious going on.....

I think obama is really good at shucking and jiving, do I think he is/was smart enough to get a law degree without affirmative action, hell no.
I am not a republican I am a conservative, and supporter of the rule of law. And refuse to support any of Roves dopes.

Yeah, I don't know, nerd. I go back and forth on that one.

He's not even a good orator unless he can read the speech from a teleprompter. Otherwise...he huh's...um's...um's.... can't get his mind on track. Personally, I think he's a fake. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Several "dumb" things come to mind. Remember when he wanted the public to think that most doctors liked his healthcare plan? Before the speech, he passed out white coats to all who attended so the public would think they were all working doctors, just eager to embrace his idea of healthcare?
The real problem is that he thinks we're all as dumb as he is.

All you have to do is look back at him prior to his election to POTUS. His writings are C grade stuff. He couldn't get a real job and he was near bankruptcy if you believe the reports from 10+ years ago. The guy is a first class loser who was groomed by radicals to suit their needs.
