President Obama's approval rating has remained steady despite the emergence of three wide-ranging and potentially devastating scandals, according a new poll out Sunday.

Just over 53% of Americans said they approve of the job Obama is doing, while 45% said they disapprove, a new CNN/ORC International survey showed.

Not a surprise considering how brain-dead Americans have become. I hate to say I have given up...but I have given up.

More free stuff, help Mr Rubio sign up more people for more free stuff. 47 % of the people are too stupid to get out of the rain. Only about 27% of the population supported the war of independence.

I never trust or believe a poll. We have so many now, they're useless. You could poll one household and get 53% approval of Obama.
It just depends on which household you poll. Bleh!

Yes, and if you poll in the slums of the big cities, if you can find someone that speaks English, you get the democrat results you want.

Right track / Wrong track is much more significant than Obama's approval ratings.

Who's gonna tell some faceless voice on the phone that they think the black guy sucks (especially after last week's revelations)?

Are we back to this now? I remember telling myself this too, right before Romney lost.

Best measure is poll average.

We need to face reality instead of hiding our heads in the sand.

I don't want to depress people. Keep hammering away at Obama, Obama fatigue will eventually set in and he's a lame duck at this point. He can't run again and Hillary will have all this baggage too.

We simple have to look at 2014 and 2016. And stopping USSC nominees. That is where Obama could do real damage.

But we need better, more likable candidates.

I just want to say that these aren't 'scandals'. They are crimes. They are crimes against our Republic, against our freedom, against our Constitution. And as such those involved should be indicted, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to jail. Including Obama.

I agree with WTF.......keep hammering away. Its time the 53% got a wake up call before the other 47% find themselves in prison or exterminated simply for believing in liberty and then its the 53% who suddenly figure out that dissent is a no-no.
