STOCKTON (CBS13) — Two robbery suspects were foiled when a Burger King employee slipped out the back door and made off with their getaway car.
Stockton Police say it’s like nothing they’ve seen before. They say two men ran into a fast food restaurant, pulled out their guns and demanded cash.
While the two men were inside robbing the cashier, another Burger King employee sneaked out the back. He noticed the suspects’ getaway car running, so he hopped in.

Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
I witnessed a similar event at a McDonalds near a motel where I stayed one night while traveling. I'm guessing the Mickey D's and the motel were both in the black section of town because I didn't see any other white people at the motel, and I was 1 of 2 white people in the dining area. I had considered taking my laptop in there to check emails and stuff, but decided to just take a paperback to read because it was around 9 AM and busy with the breakfast crowd. I figured the laptop might take up too much space at a shared table.
Anyway,I am sitting in there eating breakfast and occasionally talking with the people around me and while I'm talking with a guy with a Jamaican accent next to me,3 tall black guys all dressed in trendy stylish hip hop clothes who are just standing around almost blocking the doorway say something to him. He answers, and they walk outside. He tells me,"There's something funny about those guys. They keep coming in and looking around, and then after standing around for a while, they walk back out in the parking lot again."
Sure enough,a few minutes later, there they are again, standing in the middle of the floor near the door, not buying anything and not consuming anything. Just standing there looking around. They ignore me,so I ignore them and go back to my book.
A short while later I hear stuff going to the floor and women screaming. I look up,and the tallest one that was wearing the designer mirror sunglasses had snatched up a notebook computer from a Mexican-looking guy sitting alone at a table, and had been tackled by at least one of the black chicks that worked there, but there must have been at least 3 of them on him, plus the Mexican-looking guy,and they were all beating the snot out of him. There this gangsta was, with his designer sunglasses laying in the floor 20 feet from him so the security cameras had a good look at his face, getting beat up by 3 big black women and 1 small Mexican-looking guy. They have him down in that glass entrance area between the outside door and the inside door, and are wailing on his ass.
Then his two gangsta pals come riding to the rescue in the Honda Oddesy of one of their moms, and as both of them are freeing their homie from the clutches of the women beating hell out of him,I look up and there is another black female McD's employee standing directly behind the Odyssey with a pad of paper and a pen, writing the license plate number down.
These idiots have at LEAST 30 minutes or so of time standing directly under at least one security camera in broad daylight while they are master-minding a plan to pull a snatch and run on a 200 dollar notebook that MIGHT sell for 50 bucks used and stolen because most people understand it would be password protected and pretty useless.
To steal this 50 bucks split 3 ways minus gas money, they are willing to spend several years in prison for assault and strong-arm robbery? I say "spend" instead of "risk" because the security cameras film and the license plate number on the Odyssey guarantee they were identified within 30 minutes of their daring escape.
On top of that, the one goober got his melon smacked by several people who seemed to be enjoying the HELL out of smacking his melon, which means his eyes were both probably swollen shut,he had a nose bleed, and he may have had a few loose teeth. On top of that he lost his 100 dollar designer shades AND they didn't even get the notebook!
Come to find out once the dust settled, the Mexican-looking guy was a cook there who had just got off work, and the black chicks that were wailing on the gangsta were his friends. The guy that was the target didn't seem all that amused, but those young women sure did seem pleased with themselves. It looked to me like those fools had made their day.
It had never occurred to me even once that there was any danger of anybody trying to snatch a laptop away from me or anyone else at a McDonalds. Who could be that stupid with all the lights, eyewitnesses, and security cameras around there? Yeah,I would have been worried about somebody snatching it off the table while I was in the restroom or getting a coffee refill, but not just snatching it away from me and running for the door.
Then again,I had my 44 Special in my pocket,so it's probably a good thing for everybody including me that I didn't take my laptop in there and had them try to steal it instead of the other guy's notebook.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
