On March 1st, 2012, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake (D) issued an executive order declaring the city of Baltimore to be a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. Her order declared: --------- Rawlings-Blake’s goal was to help Baltimore grow by the addition of 10,000 families, mostly illegals. Her executive order making the city a sanctuary city for illegals allowed Baltimore to join other cities that have made similar declarations. Other sanctuary cities in the US are: Cambridge; Chicago; Denver; Detroit; El Paso; Houston; Jersey City; Los Angeles; Miami; Minneapolis; New Haven; New York City; Oakland; Portland, Maine; Portland, Oregon; San Diego; San Francisco; San Jose; Salt Lake City; Santa Ana; Seattle; Somerville; Tulsa; and Washington, D.C.. Most of these cities were governed by Democrats at the time of their sanctuary declaration. Now those cities are reaping the rewards of their actions, including Baltimore. According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, Henry Estrella-Cordova, 31, entered the US illegally and took up residence in Baltimore where he was protected from deportation by Mayor Rawlings-Blake’s executive order. Estrella-Cordova has now been arrested and charged with the violent rape of a 9 year old girl in the city of Baltimore. I wonder what she would say to the parents of the little girl who has had her life shattered forever? However, this incident is not an isolated case involving an illegal living a sanctuary city. In 2008, Edwin Ramos was charged with the murder of a father and his two sons. Ramos, was an illegal living in San Francisco where he was protected by their sanctuary status. Ramos was a gangbanger with felony records who had previously attempted to assault and rob a pregnant woman.
The Massachusetts Attorney General made this outrageous statement on a local radio talk show.
We have no rule of law here in MA as long as the "Sheriff" and the Governor say and believe such law-less things.
Half of America has bowed to Baal. Political expediency now drives all the libs decision making, NOT the moral appropriateness or even the legality of their actions.
My personal thanks to all the -D's and -R's who have keep our borders wide open in order to facilitate the 'free movement of goods and natural persons'. And to those who referred to citizens who want secure borders as 'vigilantes'. And to thoise who define immigration reform as amnesty to such as dreamer Henry Estrella-Cordova.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
