Sne. Frank Lautenberg died this morning of viral pneumonia at age 89, his office said.

The oldest member of the Senate, Lautenberg had struggled with health problems since late last year, when he missed several weeks of votes because of what he said was flu and bronchitis.

The death of Lautenberg, a Democrat who was the longest-serving senator in New Jersey history, creates a vacancy that Governor Christie, a Republican, will fill.

If Lautenberg was a Republican the lib ghouls would be dancing on his grave.

But he can get more votes if he elects a democrat. He's a vote whore.

Gee - that's bad news for democrats.

They have a bright spot, however. Lautenberg will continue to be a registered democrat, and he'll continue to vote for at least the next 50-100 years.

May the Lout rot in hell. He was a piece of human debris on all levels.

After all these years,the old SOB has finally performed a service for his country.
