Rep. Louie Gohmert: “I Cannot Imagine a More Incompetent Step Right Now Than For Republicans to Focus on Immigration” (Video)
Conservative Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-TX) believes Speaker Boehner and House Republicans should not focus on immigration right now while the nation is focused on the numerous Obama scandals. Boehner may hold a vote on a flawed immigration bill in the US House in the upcoming weeks. Gohmert says,
“I cannot imagine a more incompetent step right now, when we can address the damage that is about to bring the framework of this whole wonderful country down… and we want to change the subject?”
I spoke with Louie Gohmert today in his office on Capitol Hill:
He must be from Missouri. He said "Let's don't fix the IRS..." that phrase is one I heard there many times.
As for the subject matter, of course he's right. Why should we help the Dems add to their voting block in ANY way?
The bureaucracy: the new fourth branch of government. The bureaucracy is permanent, unaccountable, unelected and choking us like a weed. The bureaucrat exists, generating nothing of value, using perceived problems to justify his existence.
