WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States could make a decision as early as this week on whether to arm Syrian rebels, a U.S. official said on Monday.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the question of whether to arm rebels is on the agenda of White House meetings during the early part of this week.

The possible move by the United States to arm the rebels who are fighting President Bashar al-Assad's government forces, was first reported by the Associated Press late on Sunday.

Can you say caliphate?

How horrible it is to watch these Middle East thugs accept our military aid and then reject us outright as the great satan once they're in power.

So, they decide to arm the Syrian rebels NOW so when the facts about Benghazi come out ...they will say WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE ??

Our stupid American leaders have no idea who it is they are arming!!!

I'm ok with it as long as they limit magazine capacities to 10 rounds,require them all to take safety courses with the cash going to the US government,and carry photo ID's.
