Why? Does their being black mean they are better Republicans than the others?

Have you forgotten all the stupidity over on FR back when all the yokels were giving each other High 5's over so many Dims switching over to become alleged Republicans?

Just look at the end result to the party of Goldwater and Reagan.

Nothing wrong with blacks who are actual conservatives becoming Republicans,and I agree that is LONG overdue. I just ain't going to celebrate or trust anybody that had a D behind their name who suddenly shows up wearing a Big Red R on their chests because that was the only way they could get their names on the ballot regardless of their skin tone.

I'd be in favor of a REAL conservative party - I wouldn't care if it was made up of little green men from Mars. (oh wait, those WOULD be illegal aliens. But you get my drift.)

Sneaky makes a good point - it just goes to show the irony that race relations have been setback quite a bit in this - the era of the first black prez.
