In a 5-4 decision regarding Salinas v. Texas, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a potential defendant’s silence can be used against them during police interviews prior to arrest and reading of Miranda rights.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013
Right's who needs Right's we in Power know what's best so get in line--right by right we will eliminate and walk you into your chains with a smile on your face
Amendment I - violated routinely (Freedom of speech, press, religion, etc.)
Amendment II - Right to bear arms - constantly under attack with attempts to institute gun control laws.
Amendment IV - Right of search of seizure - violated everyday through the TSA, not to mention police drones, etc.
Now apparently Amendment V - Provisions concerning prosecution - struck down by the Supremes.
Amendment X - Has pretty much since the Civil War been annihilated.
Looks like there are five left that "might" still apply. Wonder how long it will take our overlords to decimate those?
Amendment III has been breached, conservgramma. The NSA is living inside of your home, inside of your computer.

Amendment III - No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
I missed that one looking at the soldier wording. I hadn't thought of the NSA, etc. actually being a type of soldier that has invaded my home.
Thanks for pointing that out!
Okay so the count now stands at 6 violations with only 4 left. Wow.
America's hope is not the donkey or the elephant, but the Lamb.
