At age 80, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, leader of the Supreme Court's liberal wing, says she is in excellent health, even lifting weights despite having cracked a pair of ribs again, and plans to stay several more years on the bench.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
While I don't subscribe to it, I could see a theory going something like this:
If ultra-liberal Ginsburg retires, Zero the First will get to nominate her replacement. You can be certain that whoever he nominates will be so far to the left that he/she will make Ginsburg look like a strict-constructionist.
So, as bad as the court is now, it will only get worse.
Why don't I personally ascribe to that theory? Because the Court is a lost cause - for all it matters, they might as well have Moe, Larry and Curly on the Court

I really wish I could argue with you about that,but I can't.

She is not done doing her damage. She lacks respect for what we have in our Constitution. She complains that she is "operating under a very old constitution"
and advised Egyptians"I would not look to the US Constitution if I was drafting a Constitution in 2012"
And she is a SCJ!?!
The bureaucracy: the new fourth branch of government. The bureaucracy is permanent, unaccountable, unelected and choking us like a weed. The bureaucrat exists, generating nothing of value, using perceived problems to justify his existence.
