Ok,so the obvious question is "How many medals did he put himself in for?"

I suppose the implication is that since he's SoS he should be in some situation room somewhere monitoring tghe developments.
But the guy is entitled to go ride on his boat isn't he?
The bureaucracy: the new fourth branch of government. The bureaucracy is permanent, unaccountable, unelected and choking us like a weed. The bureaucrat exists, generating nothing of value, using perceived problems to justify his existence.

Sure he is. But it took many attempts before the State Department conceded that the first report was correct.
