FRESNO, Calif. - This week, a Utah woman pleaded guilty to encouraging her husband to shoot a neighbor whom she claimed "telepathically raped" her. 55-year-old Meloney Selleneit, pleaded guilty, but mentally ill, to reduced charges of criminal solicitation and possession of a dangerous weapon. Her husband, Michael Selleneit, was previously found guilty and mentally ill for his role in the October 2011 shooting of the couple's neighbor, Tony Pierce. Police said Michael Selleneit believed Pierce was having sex parties with his wife and used crack cocaine to control her mind.
According to assistant chief for the Centerville Police, Paul Child, Michael Selleneit was accused of shooting Pierce twice as he stood on a ladder doing yard work outside his trailer home. Although no physical contact had ever been established, the Selleneits reportedly complained to authorities over the course of several years that two neighbors were "telepathically raping" Meloney.
"There were indicators to us that Mike and Meloney were not exactly mentally stable, or all there," Child told ABC News.com. According to police, after the shooting the Selleneits spent time in a state hospital to undergo psychiatric testing but were determined competent to stand trial.
Pierce, who survived the shooting, claims that any relationship he had with Meloney, he considered to be telepathic consensual love making.

You really have to admire a man with a sense of humor that well developed.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
