The federal government is facing a class-action lawsuit over its shutdown-related closure of the WWII Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

A constitutional law firm is prepared to take action on First Amendment grounds.

“By spending money to bring in barricades to attempt to shut down an open-air memorial is abhorrent and deeply insulting to WWII vets who defended the very freedoms that are now threatened by the Obama Administration’s actions. We are prepared to take legal action if this injustice is not corrected,” Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, said Wednesday.

Good for them. There is NO reason they should be closing these things that belong to the american people. There are plenty of other things they can shut down..like themselves. If they really want to shut down the govt..then they should get the hell out..with no pay. As we can see..they are doing nothing, anyway..but blasting a lot of hot air.

My hope is they keep this so called shut down long enough for more people to see their bogus insurance plans. Wait until more morons see it not only is not free, but costs as much as, or more than everyone elses..with huge $10,000 plus deductables. I have been reading story after story on this today. AND..you have to give your personal information before you ever see the cost of any plan...um..and if you dont want it..you cant take your info back, you are in their system.
