It doesnt matter if it goes passed..they have the money. Maybe when people see them pay it..they will understand the difference. What does it take to explain to people that they want a blank check..an unlimited credit card?

Any 'default' would be the sole failing of the POTUS.

All the Pubs have to do is explain - directly and clearly - who THE PRESIDENT would be choosing to cut off (i.e., veterans, grandmas) and who THE PRESIDENT would be continuing to fund (i.e., illegal aliens, congressional gym, Michelle's vacations...fill in the blank).

Rinse, wash, repeat.

Geez, get some new PR people, Republicans. It ain't so hard.

So lets the say the Pubs by some miracle stand firm and don't cave. Naturally the Rats and Big Ears will roll right over them and pass the usual crap sandwich, and rest assured it will be a big one.

So what is the worst thing that will happen? Let's review...

1. The MEDIA still hates them and blames them for everything under the sun. Big deal, so what else is new? They would do that anyway.
2. The MEDIA inadvertently helps them by stating over and over and over that Republicans were against the Boy King and Wonderful Obamacare. Are you writing this down? AGAINST THE BOY KING AND WONDERFUL OBAMACARE.
3. The wonderful world of Obamacare begins to be inflicted upon the American people. People can't log on, get sticker shock, they are dumped from existing plans, etc., etc.
4. The spectre of the IRS penalties finally gets out there among the masses.

Pour me a Margarita, this little party is just beginning.

And remember, we are a year away from mid terms elections. So for an ENTIRE YEAR, the Sheeple are going to know those wascally Wepublicans were against this mess. I'd bet my mortgage that a bunch of them will even feel they tried to SAVE them from something awful. You know...that they were the good guys.

So Republicans, if you are really smart no matter what stand your ground and start reminding people now that Obamacare passed without a SINGLE Republican vote.

Maybe lose the battle, but definitely win the midterm elections.

Fine, how do they "go to the grass roots"?

Rush, Hannity, Levin, all constantly harp that "all they have to do" but they never explain what they should do.

I think the GOP does come up with goold messages but you never hear them because the MSM refuses to air them.

But, if you're right and the problem is a lack of "good sound bites", I'll ask again, if the GOP comes up with really wowie zowie sound bites that people want to hear but the MSM refuses to broadcast them, what is your solution?
