The Obama administration may give Americans extra time to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, postponing when penalties for failing to buy coverage will go into effect, MarketWatch has learned.

The health care law requires most people to have health insurance by Jan. 1, 2014, but allows for “short coverage gaps” of up to three months before imposing the penalty, which is $95 or 1% of an individual’s income (whichever is greater) next year.

That means someone must be covered by March 31, an official with the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed, which is the final day that people will be able to purchase health insurance on the public exchanges, or marketplaces, created by the ACA.

Seriously! these Republican candy arses couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen so they just got out, they capitulated, they folded.

Our "leaders" actually berated those who were leading the stand against the Dems, saying Cruz and the Tea Party were on a "Fool's Errand".

Folding, raising their helpless hands, claiming it wasn't their fault, what choice did they have? these are our leaders?

And those polls that showed "we" were losing, also showed that Obama was taking the same hit with his poll numbers at 37%, his all time low!!!

Great. Thanks to the spineless jellyfishes, now it will be a BIPARTISAN delay.

It would have been far, far better if they had just ALL voted the piece of crap down and made the Rats own it, lock, stock, and barrel.

We all knew it wouldn't survive the light of day. Why didn't they?

The republicans and those on their side saw this. Lets not forget..we had 16 days of this disaster before they folded..and that was only because of that rush for the debt bullchit. I believe they backed down because of that...not to mention, they were taking the heat for this fiasco.

But now.......now.....anyone with any smarts can see that Oblahblah has NO choice. You cant fine someone for something they CANT buy!!
