In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule, warning that it would result in canceled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.
CNN is on record: it was ALL Democrats! It wasn’t just Obama and Sebelius, or just the Executive Branch. All Democratic Senators signed off on this.

This would not have happened with a President Romney
The same Romney who would not say anything bad about Obamacare during the debates?
The down side to declaring people mentally ill to justify confiscating their firearms is that if they win the fire fights they already have the insanity defense ...
In all honesty, if you think about it..nobody had to vote for anything as far as grandfathering in. These insurance companies were not going to EAT the cost of what they are being forced to offer. Of course, policies have to be changed to include them..so what you had (before they included what they had to) no longer exists. Even if they grandfathered in anything..how long do you think they could do that? A year? So, people would have the problem next year.
Instead of nit picking about who voted for what..and the fact that their site doesnt work....someone should be stepping up to the plate and getting rid of this entire thing....have people be able to buy over state lines...throw in some tort reform...and provide something for the poor..and end this crap. THATS how you help people. Not forcing people and their doctors to do and buy things they dont want.

Republicans have voted to repeal Obamacare over 35 times.
ZitatRepublicans have voted to repeal Obamacare over 35 times.
So that's what it takes to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside for the establishment to take symbolic votes and then set back and point back to the symbolic vote. I guess the weak minded will fall for this type of messaging

I don't even understand his point
Simple really, The Rovians went along with the symbolic votes knowing their Senate counter parts would never pass the bills; but, when they actually had a chance to do something for real to stop Fascistcare they put on their knee pads for the democrats and attacked the ones actually trying to stop Fascistcare.
The roar you hear in the distance will be the sound of banks crashing, followed by the silence of business-as-usual grinding to a halt. After that, the crackle of gunfire.

We'll never agree on this point. I don't demonize all the republicans who saw things differently.
