WASHINGTON — House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said Thursday that Republicans have the votes to pass “Plan B” later in the day, along with the Spending Reduction Act, which would deal with the sequester.
“We’re going to have the votes to pass both the permanent tax relief bill as well as the spending reduction bill,” Cantor told reporters at a press conference Thursday.
They need to go ahead and pass the bill and let it die in the senate. Then they can accuse that POS Harry Reid with playing politics instead of helping the people..
Update 8:05pm Okay, Speaker Boehner called it off. There won't be a Plan B vote tonight, "The House did not take up the tax measure today because it did not have sufficient support from our members to pass."
