A series of newly obtained emails shows that Gov. Chris Christie’s office was closely involved with the lane closings at the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey in September, and that officials closed the lanes in what appeared to be retribution against the mayor whose town was gridlocked as a result.

This cracks me up. They are making such a big deal over this. I read one article that mentioned vetting him, if he ran for president..because he said such and such..and he did this or that and blah, blah, blah.All petty crap. Vetting? Vetting? They are actually talking about vetting after the illegal we have sitting in the white house. The person nobody knows..with records nobody has seen, with a SS number nobody cares to explain and 2 phony BS still online. They are worried about whether this guy knew about some bridge closing..that inconvenienced some people..what about the dead people Obama is responsible for? They think over this issue, the man cant run for president? Quick..seal all of his records. Problem solved. Oh..and with the Benghazi BS...its fine if Hillary runs? Who is worried about vetting HER?

Whether you like Christie or not..take a step back and look at this. Then look at your president and his cohort Hillary. You tell me..who has done worse things? Those 2..or a man who may or may not have known about a bridge closing. And in all honesty..this guy gets surgery to lose weight to run for president. Do you really think he would close the George Washington bridge, probably the busiest bridge in the country..to get even with someone who didnt support him...who is a democrat, no less? He KNEW he would win, at that point..what purpose would there be for him to order a bridge close. This is utter stupidity and the media, of course, acts like this is a bigger crime than 4 left to die in Benghazi. (eyeroll) Dont you get it? They are out to bring down another republican..and republicans are on their side..lol No wonder we dont win elections.

Well, gee..I guess if he becomes president..he wont have the democrats chitting all over him. Maybe thats not such a bad thing.

My problem is..it isnt just this Christie thing. We have 2 parties. dems and reps...and a few smaller parties. Conservatives seem to want to be part of the republicans...but, all that ever happens is they put down whomever is chosen to run. First Romney (who would have been better than who we have now) and now Christie (who in my opinion, is better than who we have now). We have these forums online, where conservatives do nothing but put down whomever is running. One starts, the others follow. Ever go read on FR..they are like a bunch of parrots there, sometimes word for word, they repeat. They brainwash people into their way of thinking, which most often, is against whatever candidate we have. Have you ever visited DU? They kiss the asses of their candidates and the president...even this illegal one. They praise obamacare, even tho they are getting burned by it..and if someone seems to complain about their "burn", the rest of them hop all over their case. And this is why they win and we lose.

Conservatives dont want to form their own party, because they know they cant win...so instead, they join the republicans...and brainwash those voters..so we cant win. Republicans choose a candidate that is known to the public..and has a chance to win. The tea party somehow got a bad rep. Do you think they want tea party endorsed candidates to run..when the public..and republicans have already demonized them? The tea party was never run by one person or group..and most people dont even know what it stands for..all they know or think now is..they are bad.

I dont know a lot about Christie. I have formed my own opinion..using common sense over this bridge thing. If he is spiteful..I seriously doubt he would have closed that bridge over this petty crap. He already knew he was winning..plus..this kind of scheme sounds very womanly, to me. The man wouldnt have done something like this..and have it come out when he has intentions of running for president. Call him what you want, but I dont think he is stupid.

How ever bad Christie is..in my opinion..he is no Obama and no Hillary..and I would rather see him up there, than either of them. But it doesnt matter who republicans choose, because Hillary will win, Benghazi and all..because her people will support her, no matter what...and we will forever be in the background, listening to people, piss, whine and brainwash others. We will sit by and watch this country go down the tubes, rather than sticking together and hoping our candidate will win, and do something for this country.

I am glad for one thing. That I am old enough to remember this country when it was great. When we could be proud and free. Its a shame that my grandchildren and their future children will never know and experience what I have.

So..go ahead..pick apart the future candidates..pick apart Christie..because his crime of maybe being spiteful at times..is far worse a crime than Obamas and Hillarys. Then in 3 years when you end up with her..ask yourselves why.

Oh please..the woman was 91..who's to say she wouldnt have died, anyway..and believe me..bridge closings or not..people die because dispatched ambulances dont get there on time, every day.

As far as deserved..I think we get who we deserve..we already got who we deserve..and you can thank those people, like those who post at FR for that. Demonize your own party...then whine about who you ended up with.

I dont remember directing my comments to you, personally. I am talking about what I see, online, on a daily basis..on forums and in article comments. Every day, I see people now talking about voting out this one and that one (republican)...so, they want to be rid of these people and put a democrat in their place?

If people dont stick together and vote for who we have..democrats will always win..and you see where that got us.

As far as Christie..I still view this bridge thing as small potatoes...the media making a big deal out of nothing. And believe me..if he ordered that..those people who are involved and are leaving on their own accord, or are fired..will be out there..pointing the finger at him. What I was trying to point out, in this matter was..lets fry this republican..because he is responsible for something like Benghazi and all of the evils Obama has done. A normal person cant even compare the two.
