He's only a felon if is held accountable. How many of those men and women in Washington are held accountable to the law at this point in our history?

The truth is, we need nut control, not gun control. When I was a kid you could order a gun out of the back of magazines and from sears, etc. No mass killings in schools by students. As a kid in school we all had pocket knives and shells in our pockets. No one said anything and no one got killed. There are kids that are into pocket knives and shotgun shells, but they don't carry them to school. They see them as tools as use them appropriately and responsibly.

I think part of the problem that we are seeing are the scare tactics of the media. People are lead to feel much less safer than they actually are. Nut cases are not roaming the streets of America targeting everyone. The media just wants to keep you afraid and wants you to think that they are.

There was a school shooting in Georgia a few months back. When I turned on the news I immediately learned two things. One, it wasn't my child's school. Second, the shooter had been disarmed and was removed from the school property. I immediately turned the news off. Why? Because it didn't relate to my life. I didn't need to be concerned.

The media and the politicians are riding the emotional high of "LET'S DO SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!" to stop another Sandy Hook shooting.

Hmmm... I haven't heard of another school shooting that resembled Sandy Hook since the day that it happened. Have you?

And lastly, we still know extremely little about Adam Lanza's medical history because the investigation hasn't been completed. Until we do it would be hard to come to any conclusions about his mental health.
