PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama averaged 49.1% job approval during his first term in office, among the lowest for post-World War II presidents. Only Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford had lower job approval averages. Obama's first-term average is most similar to Bill Clinton's. Lyndon Johnson, John Kennedy, and Dwight Eisenhower were the most popular first-term presidents.

This just reinforces the fact that the GOP apparatus is dead. Zero wasn't reelected because people like him. He was reelected because the GOP ran another Progressive who couldn't even defend themselves more less defend Conservatism and attack Liberalism. Now after seeing the failure of McLame and Romney, the party is going to triple down on stupid and run Jeb Bush as their approved candidate. That should turn out equally disastrous.

I believe you're correct about the possible candidacy of Jeb Bush. He would never get my vote. With Jeb Bush as president, I would fear the direction American eduction would take. Federal control of education is ruining us as a people.
Orthodoxy SUCKS.

It will be just like '12 where the GOP power structure pulled out all the stops and dirty tricks (remember the fake Romney win in IA?) to get their RINO the nomination only to have him fold in the general to either Biden or Hitlery who will more than likely be their nominee. Rove et al have already been pimping this loser Jeb. They just don't get why they keep losing to Marxist filth. It isn't because they are not moderate enough. It is because they are so moderate, there isn't any real difference between the two parties.

I don't see it. I think they'll run Rubio and I certainly hope so!! Might as well plan on losing before we even start if they run another Bush.

I sure hope you're wrong on the last two points, Frank. I agree with you on the first two.

Didn't stop the GOP from pushing a loser one term effete Gov from a Lib state this time when everyone knew this was going to be a class warfare election. Running a Bush again, especially one more Progressive than his brother or even his father, makes the GOPe wet their pants with excitement. They would rather lose ANOTHER election with a RINO than have the embarrassment of a Conservative up there.
Personally, I will be supporting Rand Paul or Santorum this go round.
