As a member of the general public, I have no knowledge of any events or circumstances that would cause me to support a declaration of war against Pakistan.
Thanks alger, saw that in the other thread. (I would emphasize the "not so" in your top line!)
You're welcome FP123. Took your advice.
[For those who don't believe in 'conspiracy theories', when I emphasize no so unintended I do not refer to micro managing specific events. I refer to the shrewd understanding of human nature that led the enemy within to erode immigration enforcement, promote Islam as a 'religion of peace', misinterpret the 14 th amendment by ignoring the 'and subject to the jurisdiction thereof ' clause, promote moral equivalence and political correctness, etc. and await the inevitable.]
It's just a very dangerous slippery slope. If our Constitution is so easily discarded for one citizen then it can be easily discarded for others under a different administration. There are checks and balances for a reason.

Our rights are delineated within the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution. I believe the problem starts when we feel an affinity for "the spirit of the law" and do not guard our liberties with caution. Politicians woo us for a reason. They know they can garner our support if they are clever enough. A watchful eye is necessary at all times.
Orthodoxy SUCKS.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
In the old days there was also a vat of hot tar and feathers to keep them in line.
Actually, it is still available in one sense. Should there come a time when the politicians have squandered our trust too far, they may be surprised at the mayhem that they unleash.
I'm thinking of Anonymous when I say this.
