Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) weighed in on the Benghazi terrorist attack this morning on America’s Newsroom. Paul said,

“I really think part of the cause may have been there was a gun running operation going on in Benghazi, leaving Libya and going to Turkey and distributing arms to the rebels… They’ve interviewed the captain of the ship. A ship from Libya sailed for Turkey a week before the ambassador was killed. It was full of arms and they interviewed the captain and he actually specifically talks about the distribution of the arms to Syrian rebels… And I think the administration needs to answer are they running guns through Turkey to Syria.”

You would think the honest leftists would rally around Rand Paul on these accusations.

In October 2012, Malta Today reported that a Libyan-flagged vessel was used by a Malta-based humanitarian organization in a covert US arms smuggling operation to Syrian freedom fighters.

I agree with you, Rand - but who's going to ask them?

Certainly not the State Controlled Press.

I love Rand, just tells it like it is. Sure wish there were 400 more like him in Congress right about now, and at least ONE frickin reporter somewhere in the state controlled media who would start asking the tough questions once in a while.
