The long-awaited independent report on the killing of the US ambassador to Libya and three other Americans will be presented to the State Department today, according to reports.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton created the Advisory Review Board to investigate the Sept. 11 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, which killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
Republicans have put the Obama administration on the defensive over the assault, asking why it wasn’t immediately called an act of terrorism.
The report will be presented to members of Congress this week before a private briefing on Wednesday, CNN reported.
Scuttlebutt is that it is a complete whitewash (as expected). Look for the blame to fall directly on the CIA again - intellegence breakdown. The Diplomatic Sevurity head at State is going to be targeted for the fall. He will not go quietly.
