Black Chamber of Commerce CEO on Obama: ‘I Had Hopes Because He Was Black, Shame on Me’
By Clash Daily / 27 February 2013
National Black Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Harry C. Alford told The Daily Caller that he ”ignored” President Obama’s “spread the wealth” comment in 2008 and “had hopes” for him “because he was black.”
“I don’t really support him too well and he knows it and that’s a badge of honor. He’s bad. He’s bad and I supported him. I voted for him the first time around. I had hopes because he was black. Shame on me,” Alford told TheDC at the National Press Club after an anti-gun control news conference.
“Then when he started doing all these executive orders, banning right-to-work and other things, hurting my members, my constituents. I had to back off. I had to represent my people.”
Yeah, that's in there too. We're not color blind yet, especially the liberal hollow-wood crowd. They are so full of their own good deeds thinking that they're useless.
It is more understandable for minorities to want their own in power, but it is nevertheless the same problem as when whites do it.

"The Republican Party doesn't demonize prosperity. We celebrate success in our party," he said. "And let me be clear, if Republican leaders want to join this president in demonizing success and disparaging conservative values, then they're not going to be fit to be our nominee."

Good point. I was thinking "well, everyone makes mistakes and he learned a lesson, don't vote for someone based on the color of their skin" but...he could have said it before, not after he was re-elected.
