Some folks believe that this isn't an 'either or' situation, and that improved border security doesn't have to come at the cost of less law enforcement away from the border. In fact, whether they are used to apprehend murderous gang-bangers, rogue cop-killers, or deployed for security on our nation's borders, these light armored vehicles can and do serve a useful purpose.

Meanwhile, no answer to the key question of whether or not critics of federal law enforcement are willing to put their own bodies in harm's way to scrape these violent felons off the sidewalk.

That's the problem. Street felons and gangs aren't a Federal issue, it is a local and State issue. Unless and until that felon commits crimes across State lines, the Feds should be powerless - 10th Amendment and all...

According to the tech in the video, his emergency team covers the entire state of New Mexico and are on-call nationally.
