Designer Vivienne Westwood does not approve of first lady Michelle Obama’s wardrobe, she told The New York Times:
Q. You must love our first lady, who is famous for recycling her clothes.
A. Don’t talk about her. It’s dreadful what she wears.
Q. What?
A. I don’t want to talk about it. Really, I can’t. She’s a very nice looking lady, but it’s a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her. Jackie Kennedy was a different matter altogether. It just has to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous. That’s what fashion is there for. It’s there to help, not just to make you look more conservative.
Yuk! I've never noticed what ugly clothes she wears! Not that I'm a fashion plate or anything but these clothes are ugly! I've seen a couple of dresses on her that looked good. Must have been an accident...
She just doesn't have much natural grace. It's not as much the clothes as it is her - she's frumpy and awkward. Not a character flaw by any means, but it does perhaps reflect a person who is not comfortable in her skin and with who she is.

Oh my. That's just embarrassing. Not that most people would look good next to her (can't think of her name, Frenchie's wife - she was a model) but Mrs. Obama could have made a better showing than that!
Why they tried to force the public to think she was a fashionista is beyond me. She has no sense of style. A real fashionista would NEVER EVER go out in public dressed like this:
