And for those interested here is the NRA's news release from yesterday on the Newtown shootings. It doesn't really say very much as they intend to hold a major news conference in the Washington, DC area
on Friday, December 21.

It does, however, imply the NRA is prepared to make some (unstated) concessions on gun ownership. The NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never
happens again. We'll see.
