The police should have suspected the minister in the first place .. This happened in Petersburg, not Chesterfield and as Everyone in Petersburg knows .. No whites live in Petersburg!
ZitatIt seemed like a hate crime. A Petersburg, Virginia minister reported that racial slurs had been painted on his house before the house was set on fire.
Olander D. Cuthrell, a 41-year-old African American minister now faces charges of setting his own house and car on fire. Cuthrell is a minister of music at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Petersburg.
Law enforcement authorities responded to a call to the Little Ridge Court home on March 15. A car and the porch of the home were on fire. A racial slur was painted on the house. Both fires were put out and no injuries were reported.
When the alleged crime was first reported in March Cuthrell said to the presumed culprits, "Get a life, get some education, do something positive with the energy that you have. You could have been looking at five counts of capital murder. The reality is it could have been five counts of capital murder."
