Quote: Rufus T Firefly wrote in post #9I've said for years that we're past the point where elections can "fix" things. The question then becomes - if ELECTIONS won't fix things, what will?
Um, let me guess..........a revolution, Rufus?
Amen, brother!
Elections are so much work and we almost never win, I'm sure shootin' people and blowin'-up things would be much easier and more likely to succeed.
"Elections" here have about the same relevance to the controlling powers as elections in the old Soviet Union did. In other words . . . . none.
And isn't it funny - pretty much the same people are in power there even AFTER its financial implosion.
ZitatSpeaker John Boehner praised a bipartisan plan emerging in the House of Representatives that includes an arduous pathway to citizenship for 11 million people living in the United States illegally.
While he did not specifically endorse allowing the 11 million to become American citizens, Boehner told reporters that the House effort "is frankly a pretty responsible solution."
I would like to personally thank all of you who made my winning of the area rug possible.
So you support making millions of illegals American citizens like Boner does?
So you eat so much bacon you hafta get your angioplasties done at your local Lube-N-Tune?[/quote]
Once again showing everyone here you are nothing but a Leftist troll. You can't even answer a simple question on whether you support amnesty like the Speaker of the House does.
I would like to personally thank all of you who made my winning of the area rug possible.
Lets see how does this work, the gop votes with the democrats in anmattempt to illegally change the 2nd amendment and to hold hearings. But on a 1500 page bill that will cost trillions, and make a special class, of citizens, one that does not need to obey the laws, they do not want to have hearings. This trash has got to he kicked out of office. The have sold out, it will be 100 years of democraps if they pass this crap.
I am not a republican I am a conservative, and supporter of the rule of law. And refuse to support any of Roves dopes.
