Begs the question is why the Karl Rove Republicans gave him money in the first place?
National Republicans are pulling the plug on Mark Sanford’s suddenly besieged congressional campaign, POLITICO has learned — a potentially fatal blow to the former South Carolina governor’s dramatic comeback bid.
Blindsided by news that Sanford’s ex-wife has accused him of trespassing and concluding he has no plausible path to victory, the National Republican Congressional Committee has decided not to spend more money on Sanford’s behalf ahead of the May 7 special election.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
So let me get this straight. They don't discourage him from running, initially . They don't field, and back, a solid conservative without the baggage of old Mark . And now that he's the candidate, they cut off the money. And they wonder why they're a joke...

Bingo. These establishment morons run around claiming all their electability issues stem from the undisciplined Tea Party and Conservative candidates, yet they don't have the organization to tell this loser that he is unwelcome to run for elected office anymore. They had two chances to do it to. The Primary AND the run off too.
In an effort to placate the hostile, pitchfork-toting, rank and file mob, the GOP today pulled the plug on a disgraced former SC governor's bid for election to Congress.
The following remarks could be heard amidst the deafening sound of grinding wheels furiously sharpening machetes:
"Begs the question is why the Karl Rove Republicans gave him money in the first place?" "Whoever the hell gave 10 cents to this guys camapaign is nuts." "These establishment morons" "they're a joke..."
I don't see any difference in Mark Sanford trying to regain his political career than Clinton, being president at the time, had an affair with a girl young enough to be his daughter. Clinton is still loved and adored by over half the country.
Another thing...Why did Sanford's ex-wife not report the incident when it happened on February 3rd?

I am not a republican I am a conservative, and supporter of the rule of law. And refuse to support any of Roves dopes.
