I saw Beck interview Tapper a week or so ago. It focused a lot on Tapper's new book, but also wandered off a bit here and there to talk about Tapper's views on journalistic integrity (his own and that of others). The impression that I got (and it is only an impression since those parts of the conversation were very "squishy" for lack of a better word), was that Tapper would like to be a bit more bold in the "right" situations. Time will tell.
In other words, we'll see what CNN allows him to do. I'm not holding my breath. That being said, Tapper DOES know what's going on, ie: THE BIG LIE that is currently engulfing this country. I think he's probably a liberal in the classic, nearly-extinct sense.

Is it possible that CNN is trying to pull some improved ratings by rounding out the biased liberal syrup called news coverage? Seems like they pulled in some other talent that struck me as conservative recently. Can't recall who it was as I never watch it.
