First Depka's track record stinks. What they are good at is gathering up crumbs and pressing them into a wild story. I often find bits of stories there that are hard to find elsewhere. Even at ATS they are considered a joke.

There are some strange things going on but we should be used to that by now.

Most have been listed already but I am still confused about why they hung around Boston. Any moron knows that in today's world you are going to have your image captured at such an event. Endless possibilities.

A 7-11 gets held up while they are getting gas for the car they just jacked? Then the story gets changed to say it was the guy who owned the car that got loose and went inside the store and told the clerk to call the cops. Which version is true? Along with all the other things that do not make sense. Yard with boat was supposedly searched and cops didn't see the blood trail?

If this a long plot it is sloppy.

I think the "boys" were involved in car theft and smuggling to Russia. Most likely to dad. That is how the FSB got onto the older one.

Let’s look at the simple reality:

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (not to be confused with the Ivy League Darthmouth College). UMass Dartmouth may be a lot of things but “elite” it is not. It is merely one of the four campuses of the public University of Massachusetts. UMass Dartmouth does not have “exceptionally stiff standard conditions of admission”. On the contrary, your kid needs to be in the dumbest 30% of the applicant pool to get rejected.

Here is the admissions data for UMass Dartmouth. Academically, it is pretty pathetic.

And, yes, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev did get a $2,500 scholarship from his home town City of Cambridge which, in the Big Picture of scholarships, represents a “Pity Scholarship” when actual “elite schools” such as Dartmouth cost $63,282 per year for tuition, fees, books and room & board.

So, there is no “baffling feature” about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s college admission and finances.

All there is a bottom of the barrel student getting admitted to a bottom of the barrel public college with bottom of the barrel admission standards after getting a bottom of the barrel scholarship award from his home town.

There is no need to wallow in Obama’s baffled wonderment of “Why they did this”. They did this because older Muslim brother got radicalized by radical Islamist rhetoric that considers America the Great Satan that must be attacked. A "FOX News source" claims that the Franklin Street back yard had previously been searched. The other accounts that I read said that Franklin Street was one block outside of the intial search perimeter and had therefore not been previously searched.
