When there is no opposition, your approval will skyrocket. Anyone point out where there is any opposition to Zero anywhere on the Right? I can't find it other than Rush. We have no leadership. The crying clown Pagliacci ain't cutting it.

The Rats took Hoovers Progressivism and rode it for decades because the GOP didn't defend his stupidity. Look at Bush II. The GOP admitted to the world he was a worthless loser by not having him front and center at the convention and defending his good polices. What is that about. Sarah Palin, who polls well with Conservatives was left to rot in AK. Romney was trashed 3 seconds after he lost and Paul Ryan is toast in the party. What is the point to be upset anymore. We need to either get rid of the party or just suck it up and deal with it. I never hear Mark call for getting rid of the GOP even though it is a totally damaged enterprise.

Yeah Frank, I hear you on all of that. I started listening tonight and was a bit disappointed when he said that he would be gone for two weeks. After about 1/2 hour I found myself tuning out to do other things and I thought to myself, it is probably good that he won't be there for me to listen to for 2 weeks, I need a break too. Yes, we're screwed, I moved up my plans for partial retirement and am choosing between a couple of places that I will be retreating to with 9 - 12 months. I'm done, seen enough. Just want to find a quiet place (here in US, I ain't leaving until I'm dead) to ride it out and be left alone as much as possible. I've been listening to Mark for a longtime, he's about as close to saying to chuck the GOP as I have ever heard him. I suspect that within a year he'll be there (unless things change, which they won't), I could be wrong though!

I have dialed back from listening to talk radio 24/7 for the last 30 years to just listening to Beck in the morning when I am bored. Rush some of the time and Levin when there is a commercial break on the top 40 stations. My daughter and wife are delighted and when it gets down to it, that is all that matters. The great part is that the top 40 dance stations are playing the mindless disco music and hip hop the wife and I listened to in the 80's. Hell, there is a total rip off of the Police that gets heavy air play now. No one knows who the Police are and who Sting is anymore. I guess I am getting older than I thought my hip ass was back in the good old days...

You say that, but the proof is in the pudding. A person we all despised was reelected in way worse times than '96. A record that was a worse disaster since Roosevelt yet here we are. The Clintons are dead to the public. I will bet a dollar that the Rats run Deval Patrick in '16 just to put another black face on things and send the Rove types scrambling. They did it before with great success and I don't see why they wouldn't again unless they figure a way to resurrect a Kennedy from the grave.
