If it is I don't think it is funny at all. Not for that sissy to be doing it.

And what's up with daddy's socks? Anybody know if this is photoshopped?

It came to me via a very radical leftist person,

[but not someone I met on vacation Frank]

Yeah I guess so. The photographer set the Bushes up, putting them in a position of weakness by seating them while the liberal democrats remained standing.

And this was supposed to be W's day? He should have been standing, most appropriatel, behind his father. Clearly W never understood these subliminal messages.

In contrast I recall someone handing JFK a cowboy hat and urging him to try it on. He declined. He understood image.
In contrast again, I recall Dukakis wearing that helmet, riding in the tank turret.
W shows himself to be in the Dukakis category on this subject.

Stand up George!!! We always wanted that from you and you never seemed to get it.

That is the sorriest group photo of living Presidents I have ever seen. It looks like a bad family reunion pic. I have this one hanging in my office and it is much more professional. I guess I must have kicked some cash into the GOP in the late 80's to get this...

Also on the same subject of just not getting it, [I'm on a rant]

FDR had polio for God's sake and they managed to prop him up for moments like this.

It was just dumb for daddy and son Bush to be seated, one in that wheelchair smiling away like an invalid, the other in a chair voluntarily.

Sad commentary, really.

LOL. Yeah. When you look back longingly at photos that have Nixon in them, you know things are upside down now.

All that new photo at the GWB library is missing is the hooker that Clinton brought visible off to the side somewhere to really make it a gem.

I was very classy and touching that George W chose to be seated out of deference to his father who is in ill health and, hence, wheelchair bound.

If it was real I think we would have heard about it. As for the picture, I really have no opinion one way or the other. We have bigger things to worry about.

George H.W. Bush, turning 90 in June. Somewhat frail now, he spoke only briefly from his wheelchair, but garnered two standing ovations � and the biggest laugh of the day from his oldest son. After his remarks, just 24 seconds, he shook his boy�s hand and said, deadpan, �Too long?�

W outclasses Barack and Bill, without even trying

As I look at the picture, it appears that W is scooting down a little bit in his chair, subconsciously honoring his father (just like the Bible says) by remaining
just slightly lower than 41.

It's instinctual among well-bred people.

Now, for juxtaposition, look at that jerk, Clinton.

Notice the way he's almost standing on his tip-toes, in his typical "look at me everybody" pose.

Trailer park trash.
