House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) would be considered a weak speaker if he were a woman, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said.
"Well, I will say this about John Boehner —and I have a good relationship— if he were a woman, they would be calling him the weakest speaker in history," Pelosi said during an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"Well because they never get anything done," Pelosi said. "Where are the results? They've never been able to pass anything without our coming to the rescue except their very and, in my view, unprincipled budgets."
Pelosi added that she's tired of the double standard.
