Attorney General Eric Holder whined today during his hearing on the several White House scandals.
Holder, who was confronted on the Benghazi cover-up and lies, told Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) that his behavior was “unacceptable” and “shameful.”

No, Mr. Holder, running guns to Mexico is “unacceptable” and “shameful.”
No, Mr. Holder, hiding information on a terrorist attack in Benghazi is “unacceptable” and “shameful.”
No, Mr. Holder, secretly tapping phone records of AP reporters for months is “unacceptable” and “shameful.”.

ThirstyMan brought up a great point the other day that I wholly agree with. What is the point of these scandals if the GOP does business as usual i.e.; is afraid to really demand answers and take these investigations all the way because the DC intelligentsia is afraid the GOP may lose "moderate" votes in '14. So far, I have zero track record of where the GOP actually having the intestinal fortitude to do a Watergate/Iran Contra style investigation going all the way back to White Water and Monica Blowjob. They always get scared after things get tough and run away.

We are living in your ideal world where the GOP politely nibbles around the edges, not to much as to upset Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid terribly, but just enough to make the blind loyalty GOP voters think that they are really doing something up there in DC to solve the problems. Meanwhile the Rats are playing hardball and winning because they have no opposition.

Hows that been working out for the country so far the last 10 or 15 years?
