ZitatRep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) predicted Thursday that President Obama will renounce his signature healthcare law in the face of mounting conservative opposition to the reform.
Bachmann said the ongoing scandal involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and challenges in implementing the Affordable Care Act put the law's survival "back on the table."
"The issue is now revived," she said at a press conference. "We believe that the heat will become so hot that even the president of the United States will be forced to repudiate his signature legislation."
Bachmann wrote the repeal bill that will receive a House vote Thursday.
I don't know. I can't see Obama backtracking on this one. Bachmann may have jumped the shark on this one, I hope she's right, but we'll see.
America's hope is not the donkey or the elephant, but the Lamb.
She is high. He will never repudiate Zerocare. He will do what he always does. Blame the GOP, and probably Bush, for not allowing it to be properly implemented.
What exactly would the the upside for the Regime to denounce their signature issue?

Statists (i.e. democrats and some GOPers) have been having wet dreams about State Run Health Care for years - at least since Truman. They corrupted the entire process - even SCOTUS - to get it.
Now that they've achieved it, they're not going to abandon it.
(Pssss - wanna know a secret? If republicans REALLY wanted to "get rid" of Obama care, all they'd have to do is defund it in the House. Just sayin' . . . )
