Over the last week, commentators have expressed great outrage over the handling by the IRS of applications by Tea Party groups and others for 501(c)(4) status. In the haste to trigger the next administration-crippling “gate,” these analyses have largely ignored one of the most surprising aspects of this entire episode—that the IRS was actually trying to do its job.

Well, well. Leave it to Mr. Stern to try to prop up he liberal wing of American civilization. Lois Lerner pleads the 5th even as she denies any and all of her guilt. I thought the 5th was to prevent self-incrimination? Must be she did it for another reason. Wow, this shall be a novel case. She pleads the 5th to prevent having to answer any questions. Those are below her.
And Ken Stern comes along to prop her up. Great! What are our tax dollars doing? Creating this behemouth bureaucracy that loathes accountability.
Half of America has bowed to Baal. Political expediency now drives all the libs decision making, NOT the moral appropriateness or even the legality of their actions.
