This is why the GOP party is dead. Look at who they are hiring for consultants...
ZitatThe ads that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun group has run defending Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) and criticizing Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) were cut by GOP strategist Mike Murphy, sources familiar with the spots said.
Murphy’s ads come on the heels of DCI Group leading the work for Mayors Against Illegal Guns’s spots against Democratic Senators.
A MAIG spokeswoman confirmed Murphy shot the anti-Pryor spot POLITICO reported on this week. Sources familiar with the ads said Murphy, who worked on Mitt Romney’s 2002 Massachusetts governor’s race and Meg Whitman’s California governor’s race in 2010, also cut the spots defending Toomey.
Toomey was a linchpin in the compromise on expanded background legislation and other measures that failed in the Senate a few weeks ago.
Bloomberg has spent millions of his fortune on the ads, including $12 million ahead of the failed Senate vote. He and his aides have indicated they will continue to spend.
His longtime Democratic ad-maker, Bill Knapp, is filming the spots against GOP targets, such as Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, for the group.

Quote: Cedric wrote in post #2 Bloomberg is the ultimate RINO, a life long Democrat really, so I don't think his hiring Murphy helps prove your point.
Is or is not Mike Murphy a regular GOPer on all the Sunday morning shows and is he or isn't he still being hired as a GOP consultant? This guy is the type of people you bend over backwards defending here on a daily basis. Until you can show me where the GOP has officially cut ties with this gun grabbing POS Murphy, it proves my point perfectly that the GOP is nothing but a bunch of Progressive hacks.

Now you're flailng, Frank.
The fact that Murphy was hired by a Liberal Democrat (source: Eglman) proves nothing about the GOP, in that, it was not involved in the transaction.
Furthermore, I have never defended Murphy.
And, finally, what I really like to do on a daily basis is watch you get unhinged.
