This fool just says whatever nonsense he wants because he knows his base will eat it up and he knows that himself or anyone with ideas like him will ever get elected.

Like many conservative pundits he says some good things, but that's all overshadowed by his overblown rhetoric. I listened to the first 10 minutes. It sounded to me like he wanted a violent revolution. Yeah, you'll get "normal" people to sign onto that.
Like I said, he just says it because that's what his base likes to hear. Talking about violent revolution will get you nowhere, the 60's radicals realized that in the 60's. Now the right needs to understand the same thing.
He's actually like a conservative talk radio caricature, honestly.
Quote: Eglman wrote in post #7Nowhere in there was a violent revolution ever mentioned--so that was purely of your own imagination
At one point he said that people in Washington would have to be removed, and elections alone wouldn't do it. Something like that. What else could he have been talking about?

Levin is an educated and more reserve form of Michael Savage.
I can only take these talk show guys in moderation.
Their BIZ is to solicit listeners and callers so they all know how to push 'conservative' buttons.
Oh along the lines of holding them accountable for there actions get involved how about putting some of them in jail it is in fact the people who hold the power and we refuse to get involved--he has repeatedly has said that violent action is not the answer if we as a people just throw up our hands and say wtf then we put our own chains on

Who do we put in jail? Obama? We can impeach, but the Senate will never convict. We cannot gain control of the Senate without winning elections.
Sorry Mark & listeners: winning elections is the only way out of our predicament.
And for now that means accepting some "RINOS". Welcome to democracy.
Mark is hard to listen to for many folks. Aside from his "tone" which many consider to be "harsh" or "strident," he speaks truthfully about what is happening in this country -- much of which is highly unpleasant and unpalatable. In addition, he has no problem calling out statists for what they are, regardless if they wear an "R" or a "D." That too is troubling to many.
When he refers to problems that elections aren't going to fix he is often talking about the bloated Regulatory State, in fact he mentioned the recent Turley article on Fourth Branch of Government - RR Thread late in this broadcast. These are the people in the bureaucracies that are indeed untouchable by elections, we don't get to vote for them, and Congress does little to stop them; more often Congress enables their statist behaviors by continuing to increase their bloated funding to the point where it is today. Read Turley's article linked above, it explains a great deal of what Mark is often referring to on this topic. In fact, his book Ameritopia covers it extensively.
Oh, and the other thing, Mark and Landmark Legal are continually in the courts doing "hand to hand" combat (as he calls it) with these agencies amongst others, he is fighting for your rights and freedom day in and day out, whether you care for his "tone" or not.

The people who can stomach his "tone" aren't the people we need to win over.
To the first question anybody in power who abuses it needs to be prosecuted--so just because we believe that our actions would be shot down ie-impeachment that it should not be put forward nonsense make them defend it--and yes elections are an important part you seem to be wanting to vote and then go hands off and then bitch when gov gets to big and the other party just shoots our principals down so why try attitude-- small limited gov is what I want not a bunch of deal making rinos who will just ease you into your chains rather than kick in your door and force them on you--as far as democracy well we are supposed to be a Republic--democracy is just a rino word for Socialism
