I'm with Rush anymore. Zero isn't the issue anymore. The Rat party and it's adherence to massive size govt' that is designed for corruption and incompetence is the issue. If the GOP can stay on message, these scandals will serve a tangible example on how destructive it is to people well past the midterms and '16 elections.

Unfortunately though, while the sentiment "GOP can stay on message" sounds good in theory, in reality what we have been seeing once elected is that the GOP is just as interested in growing our massive government as the rats are. The corruption and incompetence is rampant, BUT, it appears to be rampant in both parties.
This is the real problem as I see it: We do not seem to have a viable opposition party that truly believes in limited government. They seem to only be interested in staying in power and hanging on to their personal perks. Nobody gives a rats rear end about the Constitution anymore. Only a select few. And because of this mindset is why the corruption is rampant.
