Who are you calling the fringeballs? The Tea Party? The Conservatives? Both factions find the current GOP a waste of space.

The Tea party has thrown its support (almost exclusively) behind GOP candidates. That's good.

I haven't noticed a stampede of Conservative office holders following the fringeballs out the door in abandonment of the GOP.

He is still playing the game. By doing so he will offer sanctuary to the person who runs for the senate seat that he is vacating.

They won't have to stand up for the Constitution, either. Good ole Saxby will help them in their campaign. The Republican party will be strengthened at all costs. Damn the rights of Georgians.

The bureaucracy: the new fourth branch of government. The bureaucracy is permanent, unaccountable, unelected and choking us like a weed. The bureaucrat exists, generating nothing of value, using perceived problems to justify his existence.

The very same dilemma many of us in other states are having as well. Some of us even have an additional problem that the person we voted for 'claimed' to be conservative while campaigning then did a 180 after being elected.

Doesn't really matter......we still end up with no representation.

It depends upon whether or not the electorate of Georgia can learn that there is no opposition in the Republican party.

I know.

But what's stopping a conservative from running/winning? The votes or the simple fact there isn't one. This is one reason I like term limits.

When we are in control the left voices the very same complaint. Conservativism is the minority affiliation now. It may change, and I think it will. Politics is cyclical we have to hit bottom before the losers sit back stay home and let the votes mean something again.

eta...this is why I believe obama was run. Without the race issue the dems would have to run on issues and chance losing. Color brought out the vote, twice. They were smart imo, not some global ancient ruling faction overseeing all.

This what happens when you have a One Party Nation. They are jealous of their power and positions,and are not about to let a outsider in to share their rice bowls because they don't want to take a chance on a newbie tipping any of those rice bowls over due to a surge of integrity.

The ONE thing I AM positive about is that we will never fix this problem as long as we keep electing the problems.

I don't know. I was warned about Christy but generally heard what I wanted to hear. Lot of good that did. Hindsight says Corzine was the more honest candidate and his personal scandal would have saved us from CC
