Zitat... "I am skeptical that the only answer is putting more guns in schools," Obama said. "And I think the vast majority of the American people are skeptical that that somehow is going to solve our problem."
Obama said he intended to press the issue with the public.
"Will there be resistance? Absolutely there will be resistance," he said.
"The question then becomes whether we are actually shook up enough by what happened here that it does not just become another one of these routine episodes where it gets a lot of attention for a couple of weeks and then it drifts away. It certainly won't feel like that to me. This is something that - you know, that was the worst day of my presidency. And it's not something that I want to see repeated."
Besides getting gun violence legislation passed next year, Obama also listed immigration as a top priority for 2013 as well as deficit reduction. A big deficit reduction deal with Republicans proved elusive this month and Obama is now hoping Senate Democratic and Republican leaders salvage a scaled back plan that avoids across the board tax increases for virtually all Americans.... http://apnews.myway.com/article/20121230/DA3G50V00.html
I don't know that they are educated enough to stand up to him. With the fiscal cliff too many Americans stood on the sidelines and said, "I don't understand this economic stuff. I don't think I should say anything."
Too many Americans do not understand that the government spends THEIR MONEY. The government takes away THEIR RIGHTS. The government's only goal is INCREASING IT'S POWER AT THE COST OF THE GOVERNED. This means that Obama can't be trusted. This also means that we cannot trust the people that we send to represent us in Washington because too many of them are comprised as well.
Civics and American history are no longer taught to Americans.
steph keeps saying it and she is absolutely right. Our nation is filled with the functionally illiterate.
Orthodoxy SUCKS.
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with senses, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them."- Galileo Galilei

More like Idi Amin or Richard Pryor's imitation of Amin...

It's all been a sham to get at the guns.
It's worst than that. If you look at all the proposals the Regime is putting out, not a single one would have effected the outcome the Sandy Hook shooting.

Infiltrating and taking over the educational system was a very shrewd move by the enemy within.
