Well for one Cantor and Little Johnny are not Leaders and have no clue what to do
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz says it’s “unacceptable” that members of the British House of Commons are having a vigorous debate about that country’s policy towards Syria but Congress is staying home.
The Republican tweeted an image to his 116,000 followers on Thursday of Prime Minister David Cameron debating the topic on top of another photo showing the empty floor of the U.S. Senate.

Lawmakers are currently out of session for their summer recess. But some are arguing that before the Obama administration launches strikes on Syria, Congress should vote on it.
“We should ascertain who used the weapons and we should have an open debate in Congress over whether the situation warrants U.S. involvement,” Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said Wednesday. “The Constitution grants the power to declare war to Congress not the President.”
News outlets have reported that American strikes could occur as soon as this week in response to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s apparent use of chemical weapons against Syrian rebels.
Certain lawmakers are expected to be briefed by the White House on the Syrian situation by teleconference Thursday evening
WASHINGTON—The Obama administration is expected to brief congressional leaders Thursday on the intelligence it has gathered regarding Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons, seeking to build support for what could be the first U.S. military intervention in the 2½ year old conflict.
Plans for the briefing come as the U.S. military prepares for possible strikes on Syrian targets and as leaders in the U.K. tried to overcome political hurdles at home to a possible joint bombing campaign.
The discussions of military action come in response to what the U.S. has determined was a chemical-weapons attack by the Syrian regime last week in the suburbs of Damascus. Syrian opposition groups said the attacks killed over 1,100 people, including children.
A Briefing is not a debate Obama is going to say to Congress this is what I am going to do and won't take questions and House Leadership will say Ok Mr President thank you for allowing us to listen to you
Does this make sense? 1,100 people including children die....so lets drop some bombs..so more of them die. ???? Why cant we mind our own damned business..is what I would like to know. I will bet you if the public had a vote in this..they wouldnt be bombing anybody. Let them handle their own crap.
Oh..they arent debating because nobody follows the constitution anymore. Its out dated..dont ya know? We have african royalty deciding what gets done..we dont need no constitutional rules.

The difference is that Cameron doesn't have to deal with evil Republicans like Zero does. That is why it is OK for the Regime to just ignore them and move ahead on his own.
Quote: Eglman wrote in post #7That might be true WG but how many people will have to die for one Cowards inability to Lead
Everyone who is in the military right now has had a chance to either leave or not sign up in the first place over the last 5 years. They knew who was running the military and they stayed. This is the risk they took being lead by an incompetent Marxist.
