In this time of rampant abortion, more workers are just wat we need.
Nice to know you are on the pro-amnesty side there Karl jr
Nice to know you're on the pro-abortion side there Dr. Gosnell Jr.
Wrong there sport it is murder as a christian man I don't see it any other way
Eglman,
I can't help but notice how the resident troll has been unable to refute the fact that we are in a record period of unemployment and underemployment and one of the last things the country needs is more workers. It has been unable to deny that the labor market is subject to the laws of supply and demand, i.e. more workers combined with static or declining number of jobs = fewer job opportunities and lower salaries. Instead, it highjacked the thread and redirected it to the emotionally charged issue of abortion, implying that those who are against amnesty by any name are automatically pro abortion.
yes algernonpj he knows his position is weak so he resorts to his RE roots and attacks and misdirects to move off the topic

Captain Obvious,
I didn't refute that the sun comes up in the east, either.
Instead, as an inhabitant of a realm high above yours, I invited you to abandon your low station and join me, Gedric The Great, in a discussion of root causes, rather than mundane statistcs which are well known to all third graders.
But, alas, you were too intent on once again wallowing in your mindlessly trite habit of childish name-calling and, thus, were not equal to the challenge.

Sorry, but GtG is already taken, that Gandalf the Grey guy laid first claim!

Um....I posted this topic.
It deals with an RNC resolution concerning immigration.
Your first comment was a stupid, off-topic, Spanish language, rant belittling John Boehner, who was never mentioned in the related article.
Also off-topic, your second comment demeaned those whose thoughts you don't like, derisively calling them "Johnny-bots".
ZitatThe language, though, specifically excluded a path to citizenship. The work permit, which would need to be renewed every two years, would “not result in application for citizenship nor any family members entering the U.S.” It would also require the immigrant to have “proof of continuous employment,” with no more than two months per year of unemployment.
I'm missing the argument where more unemployed illegals enters the equation
