With the impending withdrawal of Western forces from Afghanistan at the end of 2014, the center of international terrorism is likely to return to that country from neighboring Pakistan.

The terrorist sanctuary created in Afghanistan after Soviet withdrawal in 1989 is likely to recreated.

Why did anyone expect anything different? The ONLY thing that could have prevented this is if we had left Afghanistan as soon as we removed the Taliban from power,and then called a meeting of the tribal leaders to tell them it was up to them who they put into power after we left,but IF they allowed the Taliban to return to power we would return and kill every single one of them,give their replacements the same message,and then leave again. Empathizing the fact that our focus would be on killing the tribal leaders themselves if we came back,not the Muslim hillbillies in their tribes. THEM.

If you want to prevent wars in the future,you HAVE to start focusing on killing the leaders,NOT the privates.
