He always tells the media exactly what they want to hear.
Via The Hill:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Thursday that President Obama won the budget battle, and predicts the government won’t shut down again.
“The president won. I give him credit, he won,” McCain said on CNN’s “New Day” program. “But he should have negotiated earlier and we could have prevented some of this pain.”
The senior senator—whom Obama defeated in the 2008 presidential election—said he predicted the outcome of this battle because of the shutdowns he witnessed in the 1990s. McCain is confident, he said, that it won’t happen again.
“We’re not going to shut down the government again. I guarantee it,” he said. “We’re not going to go through this shutdown again because people are too traumatized by it.”
Early Thursday morning, President Obama signed a bill Congress had just passed to lift the debt ceiling and reopen the government after being closed for 16 days.

This subhuman piece of shit is a sick joke. Of course he knew Obummer was going to win because he and the other senior alleged Republicans were going to help him. There was an agreement they would work together with the media to lay the blame for all of this on the Tea Party and other conservatives.
Yeah,it helped Obummer get the press and the public attention off his foreign affairs blunders and other general shithead moves, but it also provided political cover for so-called "moderate" (read "leftist/fascist") alleged Republicans. The hope being by both that the idiot voting public that gets all their political news from their local 6 PM teebee shows will vote for them them and vote out all the Tea Party and other conservative candidates in the next election so the "professionals" can go back to trading favors.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
You warned us that the leader of the GOP in the Senate would take a $3 billion dollar bribe to sabotage any efforts to stop Zerocare?
The votes were never in the Senate. Progressives like McCain and the dems were not swayed. I'm ok with the fact they tried, but this was inevitable. I lost sight if that myself .
