FOX NEWS – DEVELOPING: At least two people were shot at a high school in Taft, Calif., Thursday morning and the shooter was taken into custody, local reports say.
Taft is a city west of Bakersfield.

TAFT, Calif. – Officials have said that at least two people were shot at Taft High School.
The shooting happened at about 9 a.m., and reports indicate that at least two people were shot.
The shooter was taken into custody at about 9:20 a.m.
23ABC news received phone calls from people inside the school who were hiding in closets.
Kern County Sheriff’s Department officials are going room-by-room to secure the school.
Reports indicate that the first person shot was airlifted to an area hospital and the second person denied medical treatment.

On FOX they said one victim was "grazed" and did not need transportation to the hospital. They declined treatment and left the school.
The other was transported by air to the hospital.
And then there was the perpetrator of the crime who was in custody.

From radio report, it was one kid attacking another kid. I would say it was propbably over some girl. but it is California, so it could have been a fight over somone dissing someone or over a guy.
