On ABC’s This Week, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), said of the Senate's immigration bill, “I think 95, 96 percent of the bill is in perfect shape and ready to go.”
The freshman senator has come under fire from members of his own party for his support of the weak-on-border-security immigration reform bill. He did add that there were elements that required improvement, “in particular on the border security element.”
Rubio refused to answer whether he would vote for the bill if it did not strengthen border security, terming the question a “hypothetical and ultimatum.”
